For People Done with the Alphabet

Lots of people--Scrivener, Ianqui, Phantom, Lisa at Vindauga--are doing the alphabet post, but my procrastination today was inspired by a feature at Collin v. Blog: an even cooler version of a word cloud. So, people like me who have a little time to use at lunch, but not so much time to venture into the alphabet might want to check out a word cloud for their template. See mine in my rearranged sidebar. I like it.

Hang on while I get out my magnifying glass.

I scrolled all the way down .... and just found the words, "Code corrupted. Insert fresh copy."

While I was peering at your profile, I noticed My Life as a Dog. One of my absolute favorites! LG asked me about Laika the space dog a couple of days ago, and I almost burst into tears...

I'm using Firefox on a Mac, if that makes any difference.

I CAN SEE IT!

(So okay, everyone ignore my last three comments -- it's fixed.)

Very cool. I like how Curious Girl came out the biggest.

Right--that corrupted code was messing things up. You have to scroll to the bottom of the sidebar to see it.

But I do like the way these little problems created a Pilgrim-esque vibe for just a minute here in Granolaland.

Obviously, no one is ever going to confuse me with Julie.

Oh, and Phantom, do you know the Moxy Fruvous song "Laika"? They are a now-defunct canadian band who had quite the way with words. This song is on their Bargainville album, which is really quite good.

Susan: You need to start serving drinks to get a true Pilgrim vibe.

I don't know the Moxy Fruvos "Laika" but I do know the Arcade Fire "Laika". Arcade Fire is an alive and well band from Canada.

That cloud is cool.

Moxy Fruvous is defunct?

My favorite song by them is "Once I was the King of Spain."

(I was thinking I once saw them in concert singing "Don Henley Must Die," but then I googled and saw that was Mojo Nixon."
