What's Next?

Assuming most readers here aren't thoroughly reassured about our political future after President Bush's address to the nation this evening, here's something even more disturbing (via Geeky Mom and Phantom Scribbler): the federal government tracking down a student who used interlibrary loan to request a copy of Mao's Little Red Book. I haven't been able to find any more info beyond this initial report, but it's stunning to think about what our world will become if the government actively investigates students doing research on global issues.
