challah hands
Another cool thing we did this week, last Friday when we had another of CG's friends over: we made challah again. Very fun. And very easy. If the three year olds can do it, so can you!
(I can make bread, but can't figure out how to get 2 photos into 1 post. And I can't figure out how to make the "continue reading this post" line disappear, either. Sigh.)

To use more than one picture, don't use the "blog this" button. Instead, choose the "all sizes" button. Choose the size you want (small, generally), and copy and paste the indicated html into the post as you're composing it in Blogger. You can insert code for as many photos as you want that way.
I'm not sure what's going on with the expandable post link, though.
It looks like you've tried to use my expandable post code but kinda missed the mark with the cutting and the pasting. I'd recommend removing the duplicate entries in the stylesheet and trying again; it also doesn't look like the rest of the controlling code was pasted into the template body quite right. In other words, it's a little mixed up... :)
I know your 3 year olds can make challah, but I still think it would be too much for me. That's a great photo, by the way.
Phantom and jm, thanks for the technical advice--jm, I was working from the Blogger help files, and if I paste in the sample code from the help files, it works. But if I put in the code into a post with my own content, it doesn't (which is driving me crazy since that really shouldn't be happening). I'll go back to the drawing board on the weekend and in the meantime, I"ll beg any readers' patience with the weirdness.
I do love that photo, Amy. I've been trying to shoot some bloggable photos along with the more usual sorts of photos I take during the day and the anonymity constraints have led to some interesting shots. Glad you liked it.
Today Curious Girl and I tried a new challah recipe (the Moosewood one) from scratch and it was a dud. Didn't rise at all--not sure what we did wrong. So later in the day we whipped up another bread machine batch with Phantom's recipe and it looks great. That's three loaves of bread in a week, whee! I"m happy to be back in a bread-baking mode.
