They Really Should

The scene: a shady bench at the zoo, opposite the kangaroo and emu area, just downhill from the elephant area, and on the way out of the African plains section of the zoo. It's mid-afternoon, and judging from the number of children who pass by in tears, a lot of kids are tired out from a long, warm day at the zoo.

Just after two crying children pass us in quick succession, Curious Girl turns to us and says, "But people should be happy! It's a good day! It's spring break!"
