In Between Tens, some Fours

Despite the fact that Dr. Crazy--at her wonderful new space, Reassigned Time, pronounces the four meme dead, I've been tagged! Thanks, Susoz, and here goes, although I must point out that I freeze up when asked to make lists, even if I have the chance to ponder them for several days before posting. So I think I may have better answers to some of these at a later date. Nonetheless:

Four jobs you've had in your life:

1. The Organic Market in Stirling, South Australia, before or after a walk in the Botanical Gardens at Mount Lofty
2. near the Atlantic Ocean--in New York, or Florida, or Ireland, or anywhere, really, with a comfy bed and a window where I could hear the waves crashing
   
3. in bed: I'm staying up too late these days
4. with Politica. I miss her. She's been gone 6 days. Coming home tomorrow.

And I'll tack on something that wasn't in Susoz's version of this meme, which is

1. You don't need to memorize this. The point of college is to teach you how to look it up later if you ever need it. Let's focus on how to think about what you're doing.
   
2. It's not supposed to be easy when you start it. If everything we did was easy for you to do, you'd not be getting much of an education.
